Working from home will save you from having to commute to work daily and, thus saving on fuel costs.

If you need to buy headphones, look for a pair of quality headphones with noise cancellation, microphone and long battery life.
It is advisable to have a quality anti-virus on your P.C or laptop.
TIPS FOR WORKING FROM HOME.
Set a schedule for yourself; this will help you keep track of what you have to do throughout the day.
Stick to your plan.
Have a dedicated work area where you do your work and make the area comfortable for yourself.
Remember to ask for help if you need it.
If you can have a separate phone number for work calls.
Use a planner to help you keep track of all you need to do.
Stay active by fitting in time to exercise or even by just taking small breaks to stretch your body.
Eat healthily, try not to eat too many unhealthy foods if you are feeling hungry between meals and need a snack reach for the fruit and veg. I find doing this easier said than done.
If you have meetings via video calls, make sure you are dressed up and not in your pj’s.
Set time aside daily to spend with your family.
