There are many ways for you to earn money online. Sadly, there are as many if not more scams or get rich schemes. As in any job, you must do the work and put int the time to see results.
If you want to make money online it is possible. One of the first ways I earned money online was by taking surveys. And I still do in my spare time to earn some extra money for myself.
When you apply for online work take it seriously , and make sure your grammar and wording are correct, and use Grammarly to help you. I use Grammarly myself when writing my blog posts.
Listed below are 16 legitimate ways for you to earn money online.
The survey sites listed are ones that I have been on for years now. I have always received my money and have had no issues.

A proofreader looks for spelling, grammar, and typos (typographical)
If you do not have any experience as a proofreader you can have a look at Caitlin Pyle’s course. Caitlin Pyle earns more than $36 000 per year as a part-time proofreader.
Caitlin created a free 76-minute workshop course that will teach you the basics of becoming a freelance proofreader.
Pay varies depending on experience and who you are working for. According to Glassdoor, the average salary for a proofreader is $44,630 a year.
Online Proofreading Services hires proofreaders globally. Apply on their website- you can work part-time or full time.

SCRIBENDI
Scribendi welcomes applicants from all over the world. Scribendi does require you to have a university degree in a relevant field.
At least 3 years of experience in editing, writing, documents production, or in language teaching is necessary. Native English is a must.

Transcription is listening to audio files and typing out what you hear.

You can use your smartphone or a DSLR camera to take photos.

International Photography Grant 2020 is open to photographers all over the world, and it is free to enter the competition.

Have you got good communication skills, are you detail- oriented, and have a good knowledge of the internet? Do you have a good and accurate typing speed?
As a freelancer, you can work for yourself from home, with no need to commute to the office and back.

Are you good at writing lists? Can you write about interesting events and mysterious happenings, or are a sports buff?
Sporteology is for all of you spots lovers – write lists all about sports, be it cricket, rugby or soccer. The list must contain 10 sports facts.
Sportelology pays $7 a list. It must be at least 1000 words long. Payment is via PayPal or Payoneer.
Cracked is one of the largest comedy – writing websites on the internet. Its views exceed 300 million a month.
Popular topics include movies, zombies, urban legends, gaming, behind the scenes and Game of Thrones.
Requirements will differ from company to company. Always read the requirements needed before you apply.
12. GET PAID TO WRITE DATING PROFILES.
Yes, you read right – get paid to write dating profiles.
E- Cyrano pays between $78 and $120 per profile. On their website, it says: “Historically, only 5% of applicants are hired.”
VIDA Select hire creative writers and others. They also have positions related to online dating.
If you want reviews from past employees of the company, look at VIDA Select on Glassdoor.
Fixing My Profile, Personal Dating Assistants and Profile Pimpers are three more sites you can have a look at.
13.GET PAID TO READ BOOKS.
Yes, you can get paid to read books. This is the perfect job for all book lovers. Plus you get to read new books before other people do.
Authors submit their books for Discovery. As a Discovery reviewer, you get access to the submissions pool and can review books before they are launched.
Look on the Reedsy website for the payment details.
Two more sites to look at are Online Book Club and Kirkus Media. Kirkus Media is looking for experienced book reviewers, as well as Spanish- speakers.
14. GET PAID TO TEST WEBSITES.
Are you able to speak your thought out loud and clearly in English? Are you able to pick up faults and glitches on websites? You may be the ideal person to test websites.

The Arcanist pays you for your micro-stories. Get paid $10 for 100 words.
Looking for poetry, fiction, and non-fiction stories. Payment ranges from $100 up to $2000. Submit your writing and you might surprise yourself and boost your bank account in the process.
