Subtitler: This is only for people who know a foreign language well. The pay rate is based on the language you are transcribing in. Chinese and Spanish pay $1.50 per audio minute, up to $3.00/minute for French, Japanese, Korean, German, and Turkish.
Rev pays out weekly via PayPal for all work that is completed.
According to some Reddit reviews people said that the rules are very strict and that it takes a lot of time actually caption something. Most of the videos in the queues are very hard to understand due to the poor audio quality.

A typical day working for Rev just means that you have to be on top of the game to be able to claim a transcription job to be able to work that day. I do enjoy being able to learn about the different things inside of each audio file, however the little amount of pay and usable audio files is far too small. I’m lucky I live in a family that has been able to support me.
PROS.
Completely freelance, ability to unclaim unusable audios
CONS.
Small pay, some graders are extremely unforgiving.
Work on your time, but the pay is terrible and expectations are too high from company.
TRANSCRIBEME.
