How many times have you seen the ads on “Make $2 000 plus a week working only a few hours a day at home?

Plus, the ad will say No Experience Required! I have often encountered these ads, and it sounds too good to be true. Most of the time, if things sound too good to be true, that’s just what it is.

There are online jobs with little to no experience required, but these are not get-rich-quick schemes or guaranteed to make you rich overnight!

You can find good, legitimate online jobs with or without experience. Some jobs may require you to have some experience.

Are you interested in finding out more about some of the most common online jobs for people with little to no experience? If so, read on to find out which companies hire people and how much you could earn. It’s good to know that some jobs are open to people from all over the globe, not just people living in America, Canada, and Europe.

HOW TO TELL IF AN ONLINE JOB IS LEGITIMATE.

There are many legitimate and real online and remote jobs. Some of the online job sites are open to people worldwide, while others are open to people living in certain countries.

Sadly, numerous online jobs are just scams trying to con people out of their hard-earned money. Scams masquerading as legitimate online jobs people can do from home.

The other downside to online jobs is that some jobs or ways to make money online dont pay that much, and some people find it is not worth their time! I often take online surveys as a way to earn some extra money online.

Please don’t fall for online jobs claiming you can make lots of money and only need to work a few hours a day. Or jobs that claim to pay lots of money but dont give you much information, or they are very vague about what exactly you will be doing.

Also, it is a good idea to avoid jobs that require you to pay an application fee, upfront payment for supplies to do the job, or anything else. Please also be extra cautious when it comes to MLM companies. I often read online articles about how people spend so much money and make peanuts or nothing at all. Some people even ended up in debt because they joined an MLM.

Sites like Indeed, Glassdoor and LinkedIn have been operating for many years.

Also, please remember that some legitimate online jobs don’t pay much, such as micro-tasks, online surveys, and writing for a content mill. However, if you need to make some extra money and do not have experience, you could try out one or more of the lower-paying legitimate online jobs. You can continue your search for better-paying online jobs.

If you are sure what kind of online job you are looking for, let’s examine the various options with little to no experience required.

ONLINE SURVEYS FOR CASH.

Taking online surveys for money is one of the easiest ways for people worldwide to earn extra money online. Many survey sites have apps you can download.

I have a few survey apps on my mobile phone. I take online surveys while I wait at the doctor’s office or in the evening when Im watching television.

The good thing about taking online surveys is that you do not need any previous experience or qualifications. It is a good idea to join more than one or two online survey sites to make money.

Here are some of the top online survey sites. I live in South Africa and can’t join some of them. However, most of the sites I recommend are open to people in many different countries around the world. I must also mention that I have been taking online surveys for over ten years!

You do need quite a few points before you can cash out. Ipsos is open to people in many countries around the world and is a global leader in market research surveys.

I participated in a fast food survey for Ipsos when writing this post. The survey lasted over a month. I had to keep track of the takeaway foods I ate for a month, upload the till slips, and answer questions about my ordered meals.

The survey pay ranges from $1 to $25, depending on the survey length. Payment is via EFT or gift cards.

VIRTUAL ASSISTANT.

Can you work independently without needing to be reminded of the tasks you must complete?

If you can, then working online from home as a virtual assistant could be a way to make money. Many virtual assistant jobs online do not require any experience or particular skills to apply. So, working as a virtual assistant can be a great entry-level job.

A virtual assistant helps online businesses or individuals with big or small online tasks they need to complete but may not have the time to do so.

Tasks can include:

Writing blog posts

Email marketing

Data entry

Transcribing

Social media marketing

If you are willing to learn new skills, follow instructions, work independently, and not put off doing menial tasks, then perhaps working as a virtual assistant is an option for you to explore.

Some online virtual assistant jobs are open worldwide, while others are only open to people living in America, Canada and Europe.

Virtual assistant jobs platform to have a look at include:

MAGIC.

Magic hires freelancers from Argentina, Costa Rica, Colombia, and South Africa. The company has both full-time and part-time jobs.

Please note at times, there may not be any openings available. If this is the case, check back later to see if Magic has openings.

Before you can start working as a freelancer with Magic, you must pass an assessment. The assessment includes a skills, knowledge, and English language levels test. Once you have passed the assessment, you will be invited for an interview.

Looking through the site to see how much Magic pays, I found that most jobs pay $5 an hour (some positions pay more). I know it is not a lot, but you could use this job to gain experience and then apply for hiring-paying virtual assistant jobs.
