As I mentioned at the start of the post, one of the first ways I made money online was by taking online surveys. I realized that there are many people the world over searching for ways to make money online or from home?

After giving it lots of thought, I decided to take the plunge and start this blog to help people all over the world find ways to make money online or from home.

Starting a blog is not hard, and you do not have that much money to get started.

24. MAKE MONEY RENTING OUT YOUR CAR.

Are you fortunate enough to have your own car? How often do you use your car? Maybe you are like me and opt to rather walk to school and elsewhere instead of driving your car?

Why not rather rent your car out for cash when you are using it? This could be another legitimate way for you to earn extra money. Turo and Getaround are two well-known websites. Have in look online for the country you live in and see which companies there are to list your car and rent it out.

You can charge an hourly or daily rate for renting out your car. Please make sure you have the necessary car insurance in place if anything should happen to your car whilst being rented out. Find out what insurance the company renting out your car has in the event of an accident.

25. MAKE MONEY RENTING OUT YOUR PARKING SPOT.

Many people know what it is like trying to find parking in a popular tourist area or a busy residential area with coffee shops, restaurants, offices and beauty salons. Do you live in this area or nearby, and do you have a parking spot/bay?

If you are lucky enough, why not think about renting out your parking bay/spot and earn extra money doing so? This could be a way for you to make some quick cash in your pocket. Research online a see what companies are in your country to join and list your parking spot/bay out.

Make money renting out your spare bedroom. List it on Airbnb. My mother in law lived in Hermanus, a beautiful coastal town in South Africa known for its whale watching. She had a flatlet that which she rented out to tourists and locals.

Before you decide to rent out your spare room or flat, find out what the laws are in your country, if you will have to pay taxes, insurance if something happens to your property or quest staying over.

Do your homework first and find out the going rates in your neighbourhood for renting out your extra room or apartment. You will set the price.

Have a spare room in your house? Make extra money by renting out the room. Do your homework before getting a roommate to find out what the law is and do a background check on the person if possible.

Ask your friends and family if they know of anyone who needs a place to stay? Ask people at work, make flyers, and sign up at the local supermarket and church. You can place an ad in the local newspaper if you want to.

Make sure to draw up a legal contract for both you and the roommate to sign. You don’t want to have problems further down the line with your roommate, and you have no legal agreement in place. Think carefully before getting a roommate.

Guilty of having a cupboard full of clothing but you only a wear few favourites? Why don’t you sell the clothing you longer wear? Selling the clothes you no longer can be a way for you to make some quick cash.

List the clothes on the Facebook marketplace for a quick sale or find a local store that sells on consignment. Before selling the clothes make sure you know what the items of worth. You want to get the best price possible.

Take quality photos of the clothing if people can’t make out what it is that you are selling they will move on to the next person selling the item they are looking for. This could lead to you losing out on a sale.

32. HAVE A YARD/GARAGE SALE.

Is your house and garage becoming clutter full of things you and your family no longer use? Have a yard or garage sale make some extra money and have more space.

Put prices on all the items you will be selling. Put flyers up at the local supermarket, tell people in your neighbour and town/city about your yard/garage sale. You can also advertise on Facebook, Gumtree and Craigslist.

36. SET UP A ROADSIDE STALL.

Do you live in a town or city that is frequented by tourists? You could investigate having a stall selling various items you know people will want to buy. Do the research and see what items sell well and if there is a demand for items you intend to sell.

First, find out with the local municipalities if you are allowed to have a stall? Have all the legal requirements before you go ahead and start getting your stall ready. Once everything is in order let people know about your stall.

When I walk to the supermarket in the neighbourhood I always see Uber eats drivers zipping around to make deliveries. If you do not want to be a Lyft or Uber driver then you could become a delivery driver.

I enjoy visiting antique stores and browsing, there are so many different interesting objects to look at in the stores. I could spend hours browsing away. Selling antiques for a profit can be another way to make extra money.

Research online to find out what antiques buyers are looking for and source the items if you are able to.

48. MAKE MONEY USING YOUR DRONE.

Have you got a drone? Find out if there are any services you can offer people who may need a drone. Take aerial photographs and surveying. Talk to people in your city/town and find out who may need your services. Make sure you follow the laws of your country when using your drone.

FIND A PART-TIME WORK.

Finding part-time work is another way you can make extra money, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, clothing stores and beauty salons are places you can enquire at for part-time work.

Think of jobs that are in demand at different times of the year. At Christmas time many stores are looking for extra stuff. Gardeners are more in demand in the summertime.
